So over the last two weeks... ive looked.. browsed.. and snooped among your post... you all speak highly of the Outlander Sport. the mods are few... yet plenty and look forward to all of the R&D left among us and throughout great companies producing for us.
I made it to Paramus Mitsubishi today... and must say... i was impressed. I wasnt able to leave with one today... as the one i wanted did not have navigation so dealer and i worked out a deal and having it installed by tomorrow...
I thank you all for the post and the research and testing you all do. I look forward to contribute as well, as ive been researching day and night across platforms of the RVR and ASX as well. should be interesting.

I expect that you'll have a decent amount of knowledge that will carry over from the Ralliart (if it had the 4B11?).
Congrats on the new purchase though, and welcome to our little corner of evom!

thank you truly appreciate it; means a lot as your quite the contributor to post day in and day out. Dorothy is indeed the 4b11; and is/was quite the joy.

What was your exact trim, options and out the door price? Did you check Planet Mitsubishi in Hempstead first?

Before you sell those Tien S Tech Springs, any chance you could check and see if they'd fit the rear of the Outlander Sport? We've had a helluva time trying to find springs that fit, and I can't remember anyone trying Ralliart springs yet.

Im biased with Paramus they always treat me well. So even it was a few hundred over any other dealership, they would still get my business; honestly.
It is the SE AWC; fully loaded minus the Navigation, but got that added and installed by dealership.

Already in the plans as they are still on car and i get them on Thursday. From what i read on another forum its the same issue as the outlander H&R springs RRM is selling. The diameter... or rather gauge of the spring does not sit in the strut mount.
However, considering... I have a addiction to lowered cars.. i need to find out myself. I looking to get my OS 2.5 to 3 inches down; somehow.. someway... keeping safety in mind at all times.

I'll point out that there is some kind of small skid-plate that hangs down midway on the passenger side that might get in the way of things if you drop it that low. Originally Posted by ChrisHostos

Greatly appreciate the heads up... should be interesting if it can succesfully drop that low. I'll definitely be putting up findings as we all progress together with mods.Originally Posted by mRVRsport

1st Mod complete...! (if its even considered that.)
Looks so much cleaner.. reminds me of the Audi Q5 a bit.
Its actually 2nd Mod, as i spent the night removing a hideous double pinstripe from both sides and some kind of door edging protector.

Welcome aboard. Like you I'm notorious on having nothing ride at OEM height. This is the longest I've had a car in 22 years(16 of it in a DSM) that hasn't been lowered to some extent. Look forward to seeing your contribution to the crew here.

Oh, and for naming the car, the Outlander Sport was definitely the hardest to pick out a name. I finally let the fiancee have the pick, with "Dory."
