No kidding. Apparently they were having to actually take pictures and send to the dealer in order to get the part right. Then they may send a left when a right is needed. We were aggravated but at that point what can you do? The bodyshop said there were a handful of makes that they commonly have issues with.
Well, that can happen. I'll give them that.
BUT, did the dealer NOT Know.. the parts are for a body shop?? Each time they screw up an order it costs money for the shop to "store" your vehicle on their lift/bay/garage PER Day! If I was that shop owner I would be Furiously pissed off. Especially for a new vehicle that's been out only a year or two.
It's not like there's millionss of "generations" of Ford F-150s.... that they are dealing with here (it's just a Mitsu) to make sure what part it is for.
Well, no reason to browbeat that sorry dealer any longer.

There should be a bill of materials and itemized labor involved. Did the shop give you a copy?
