For those of you down south, it might be a better idea than those of us up north.
What kind of issues are you experiencing with yours? Where I'm at has seen as low as -35C and it seems the motor LOVES it. The colder the better!

You have a Takeda? My stock intake seemed to do alright in the winter, but so far all of this winter I've felt like the engine is unhappy with the Takeda.

I installed my Takeda intake before the snow really began to fall here so I don't have much experience with the stocker in cold weather, but the Takeda has held up fine for me so far without any troubles even in the coldest temperatures we've seen here. I hope it stays that way at least.

True that the colder the air entering an engine the more power it makes...
However, when the air has an high water content during cold temperatures it WILL condense on AND near an "open intake" system, therefore your motor is sucking in water!

Not by the cup full, of course BUT enough to bog it down!**

**I think that's exactly what Burton is experiencing. Especially at his part of the country.
