Sliding Ragtops anyone?
Sliding Ragtops anyone?
I miss my convertible so much that I am seriously considering getting one of these.

The motorized version only comes in 35x42, and any other size will be manually operated. I want the largest possible size, covering the entire roof back to the antennae!

That is a very nice add-on..
Definitely will get the wind in your hair.
But, oh man... Wes, if you don't already have the pano-roof - I would hate to have to CUT thru the sheet metal and Any re-enforcement bars/stampings in your roof to install this option. (Who ever installs this will severely compromise the vehicles rigidity and your safety once they murder that top trying to install fabric sunroof.)
I personally would strongly advise Against it.
Coming from an engineering stand point.

Back in 2005 I worked for an automotive restyler and one of our main products were Webasto products. They are a leader when it comes to offering aftermarket sunroof, panoramic glass, as well as the sliding ragtop you found. I can assure you, if Webasto has an application for it, they have already taken care of the research and development on the safety aspect of your vehicle. They will not make an application that will not be safe for any vehicle.
Make sure you find not just a certified Webasto dealer, but an actual certified Webasto Installer(yes they receive a certificate) for piece of mind.
Good luck!
