I hope you mean ONLY their 'dealer plate frame' that's distorted...
There's just two holes with a big rubber plug/washer that the screws bolt into. It doesn't even hit anything solid behind there. It's just a 1/8" thick piece of plastic for the "grill bumper"
Shocking I know.

So, DO NOT try to nudge any other vehicle with your FRONT bumper!

The actual plastic is distorted. Like the installer decided to go an extra 10 turns to ensure the screw went into the bumper. BTW it's screwed directly into the bumper, no washer. Either way I probably shouldn't be removing the plate, Cali is strict and I'm not going to be the only driver.

Spill it... Let's hear the story about the rear bumper.

WHAT! That's not right!

There should be two pre-cut holes with rubber washers... for the screws to bolt into for securing the License plate (& the dealer frame, if so provided.)

That's a Long story..
And, it's well documented + it's still on going. > LINK

Ouch, that sucks.

I'm not worried about the front. Going to keep the plates on. I get pulled over frequently for not having them on my 335i.

Dabadged with heat gun and floss. Took about 5 minutes.

Mine didnt have washers either , just 2 little dimples where the screws are supposed to go. I did stand there when they put the steel screws in to be sure they didnt strip the plastic out to bad , then changed the steel to stainless steel the first time I took it to work . Hate the rust stains from steel screws running down a panel.

Hoop, Nice ride !

So I purchased my car using the Costco car buying service and they gave me a $100 voucher to the dealer for parts, service, or accessories. I'm thinking of buying $100 worth of CVT fluid before I forget the voucher and let it go to waste. Anyone think this is a good idea, or have any recommendations on what I should spend it on instead?

But, not sure if all of us will experience this at that particular mileage...
Because we're only at 17.8K currently.

Not really sure what eles I would order with that $100 voucher though.
