Help: Looking for a White Lift Gate

Hey guys, was hoping I could reach out to the community if anyone knows of a local wrecker who has a white RVR/OS on the lot with a complete tail gate assembly. To make a long story short, the Misses already backed into a pole in a parking lot despite the back up camera being installed.

Really trying to stretch my luck here. Haven't had much action up north so I was hoping there would be more availability stateside.

Appreciate the help!!

Sorry to hear about the mishap.
How bad is it?
Time to install a Curt Class III hitch, my friend.
You need to "toughen up" that rear end

But, you're in luck.
Dallas has one of the largest "gatherings" of salvage yards..
Surely one of them has what you need >

(Hit the Link below and look to the left window panel for the list of Wreckers in Irving,TX)

Good luck

PS: Just for reference - Here's what I use to protect my back >

And, if that's not your style, then this >

Protruded BSB (Big Steel Ball)

That should knock anything out of the way when you or the Misses be backing the junk up.

Message that seller. Looks to be parting the entire white outlander out.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, everyone! Keep them coming!

The hitch was in the books but I couldn't get it here in time. Darn.

Dang!
The driver/owner of that white O.Sport didn't have a good day with that at all...
Wonder what hit it?

Either way -

Uhm?
You're referencing to your hatch or the the eBay hatch? Have you contacted the seller already??

I was referring to the ebay hatch. Based on the gaps from the photos I don't want to risk shipping it over to find it needs to be refinished. I'm hoping I can lay my hands on a front end damaged donor so it's straight plug and play. The average quote I got from local bodyshops came to approx 1800-2000 for a new hatch, paint, and swapping all the old internals and glass from the old to new hatch.

If I could avoid prying the glass and having to repaint with a direct plug and play donor would be ideal, although it looks like I may just have to fork up the 2 grand at this moment.

...
I hear ya.
Don't blame you for being cautious.

I'm just thinking the "gaps" you're seeing is from the bent sheet metal of the BODY and Not of the hatch...

But, it's better to be safe than sorry, for sure.

Ouch!
That's steep.
You sure they are offering you brand new or just "new" to them, ie: a pulled from a junk yard?

Yeah, getting it yourself and doing a direct swop would be the best assurance you'll get it done right.

The gaps is from body flex.

Here is another white car with less damage:

Well, that sucks.

You may want to consider finding different color (complete) hatch and just have your local shop paint it to match. Narrowing your search down to just Whites... makes it very difficult to find quickly.

Just a thought.
