A guy said he would make brackets for the fronts, and that the rears fit if you trimmed just a dimes thickness off the inside of the rears. then he said he would not make the brackets due to liability.

Was this the guy in the first few posts of this thread? I'd like to do this. The rear seems simple with Evo 9 brembos but what's the point if you don't get the front to match ? Also was it decided to use EVO 10 fronts or 9's ?

I think he said it was the 9's in the front 10's in the rear and yeah same guy out of Florida I believe, he made all the brackets for the lancers to do the conversions

yeah so did I...but he backed away for liability reasons I guess. He posted up the link to a guy that sells the kit that should work the BBK comes off of the Cadillac. I gave up and sold my brakes.

You can install Cayenne/Touareg/Q7 6-pot Brembos on OS. However, you will need adapters and proper (Brembo OK) wheels to install them.

My friend tried EvoX brakes, but they gave ABS error because of the ABS ring being different. This can be solved with ECU and other parts from Evo. Not worth it.
Bmw e39 sport brakes fit Lancers. There is a good chance ASX can adopt them too.
I personally installed 2-pot brakes from Outlander 3L. With HAWK HPS and Ferodo DS2500 pads they give pretty decent stopping power. Good upgrade for the money.
