Arrow Strut leak : Outlander Sport

Guys (and gals) who have a '13 or older, double check your struts..
Just saw some oily residue on my rear strut (P.S).

My wife and I have had noticed a slightly more 'bounce' on uneven roads and when going over speed cushions, etc. Guess now we know why.

Will be taking it in next week to have it looked at.

Side Note:
I can't recall exactly which member who may have stated they also experienced some sort of strut leak awhile back... I tried to google it up but couldn't find the original thread. If you remember who or which post, please add it here. Thanks.

Oh man sorry to hear. It took me two visits before the dealer would cover the strut under warranty. Now I'll definitely keep an eye on the rears as well. Hope your fronts are alright too.

Oh no worries buddy. That's what factory warranties are for.
I'm just glad to hear you got your struts replaced. And, thank you for posting it originally.. so that we all know what to look out for.

It's odd that those struts would fail so soon.

I'm keeping an eye on the fronts for sure.
Will keep everyone in the loop on what they have to say about ours.

That isn't right..
Have someone help vid the noise(s) as you get in out and out of the vehicle and then take it to the dealer for checkup.

We have over 40K now on ours and NO such noises. That would just annoy me to death.

***********

But, I still need to make time to take ours in for that strut leak!

Had hoped it would "fix" itself...

But, the wife's been complaining about driving has been making her a little seasick recently, so I crawled up under the rear struts again and this is not good.

Well, guess it's Really time to bring it into the dealership.

Can't believe these are going so quick. Next strut that blows I think it's better off just going with a premium aftermarket.

These posts got me worried so I crawled under the RVR. My 2011 struts are just fine. But yeah, when they go I'm getting good struts (like Bilstein etc.)
