Question HELP: where to drill in fire wall for amp cable

I am getting ready to install an amp in my 2015 outlander sport. I can't seem to locate a good spot to drill into the firewall to run the 12v. cable from the battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

i'm not too familiar with it, but i would expect there is a rubber grommet on the firewall that feeds wiring into the interior that you could cut into and feed a cable through.

if so, seal it up with silicone afterwards.

It's been a while but I drilled mine. I think it was just left of the clutch peddle. But if you have a auto there might be a knock out where the clutch peddle mounts. Check that first and it's the safest spot to usually do it

There must be a hole somewhere. I had my sound system upgraded three years ago and they never had to drill a hole.

I ran mine up between the door, windshield and hood, but I'm not pushing a whole lot of power so I have a smaller wire.

All the trim between the back and the spot I used can be lifts slightly to accomodate a wire. I dunno my gauge but my amp is only 200w so it's not big at all. I used a coat hangar to fish the wire through and it comes out over the strut and computer. There are no pinch points so long as you keep it clear of the hood hinge. I used a bolt in my spare tire well for a ground.

If I had it to do over I'd mount it under my seat but I have a locker in there to keep my pistol in when I'm not carrying it.
