Wheel Lug Nut Torque - New Tool!
Wheel Lug Nut Torque - New Tool!
Taught my daughter and son how to change to winters, but I've always relied upon the tire shop to retorque. Not any more! Early Christmas present to me (courtesy Princess Auto - like Northern Tool or Harbor Fright in the US). Picked this up today for $39CAD

I have some very, very good low torque wrenches for racing bicycles but this has a great range. Hopefully it lasts.

i always check the lugnuts after a car visits the shop and they may have needed to take off the wheels - several times i had to crack the lugs off with a breaker bar and re-torque. dumb ****s like to use those air guns with 100's of ft-lbs of torque ....
True that! Or they forget to torque them at all. Like on my son's Subaru - some were likely on at 150 ft lbs and some at 15. WTH? Like Ronald Reagan used to say "Trust - but verify".
