Did mine last year. Much easier if you remove the windshield wiper reservoir. Make sure to sketch out or have a diagram of the belt orientation. Helps immensely. Took me around 20 min

With the wiper fluid reservoir out of the way I’m assuming its possible to work around the motor mount without too much trouble?

Since you mentioned the wiper fluid reservoir I'm assuming you did this from the top. Is it as simple as it seems like it ought to be?
  1. (Re)move wiper fluid reservoir
  2. Map belt route
  3. Loosen belt tensioner using ?
  4. Remove belt
  5. Install new belt
  6. Release belt tensioner back into position

you could try soaking the belt in 404 Aerospace before install ... did this with the drive belt for my lawnmower, and my wiper blades. i figure it can't hurt - 404 Aerospace is good stuff. i cleaned the exterior plastics on the OS with it a few months ago, and they still look like i just cleaned them. i bought the big jug on amazon and use it for all kinds of stuff.
