2) Easier to fine tune for your tuner. (duh)
3) No, it wont add any power. For me it netted -5whp and +1wtq. However, WHERE the power is shifted dramatically. Huge gains in low/mid HP/TQ, and a very linear power delivery rather than bouncing around the place. But no peak gains.
4) It will pass emissions just fine. But that is the same for MAF or SD as its done at the ECU.
You cant ignore that.

The amount of cut you will achieve is a combination of compound, pad, speed and DA/Orbital.
What orbital and pad are you going to use? What's the intended outcome?
Black Magic: I was young and needed the money, what did he tell you? But seriously, i've never used that wax and cant find anything on it through my usual detail forums.

Porter 7424XP or Meguiars G110v2 or Griot's Garage 6"
I've been reading about the Griot's and people like the lifetime warranty and the fact that it comes with a hook-and-loop pad, but otherwise it's a toss-up between the PC and GG. Griot's has more low-end power which could be a good or bad thing when polishing a car..

The bottle reads:
Formulated especially for use in paint shops. Blends and smooths spot-painted surfaces. Can also be used to clean lightly oxidized surfaces. Contains no silicone or wax. May be used on new or original paint.
Application instructions: apply enough Black Magic to d o a section approx. 2X2 ft. Black Magic must be buffed in wet, and continue buffing untill all the polish has disappeared and surface is left clean and bright. Move buffer slowly and work well into paint.

The ONLY positives for the Griots orbital are: Cheap and it has a long cord.
I purchased their new orbital (instead of the PC) and had it for 1 car. Drove straight down to Griots and demanded my money back, including money for all their pads (including those which were over a year old) because the overall system was garbage.
Just get the PC. Its rock solid, used everywhere, customizable backing pad, and cools better than any orbital i've used in the RA line except the FLEX.
Pads: Lake country pads are very effective. You can get about 15-20 cars out of their polishing pads before I would scrap them. A bargain for only $8-12 each!
