Alderwood Security will not be cool with that. They have cameras all over and those mall cops get all excited when they can boot people. I worked at the Valet there for years and talked a lot with those guys and have heard many stories about them booting people and acting all hard. Its private property and they can enforce their rules as they see fit to ensure their client base has the best experience possible.
Also, i'm too old to parking lot pimp anymore. Have better things to do.

^ They can. Im telling you its private property and not worth our time to show up and get booted.
Or you can all the GM of the mall, Gerry Alder. If he gives the ok, then lets do it.

If I called Claim jumpers to tell them the mall security guard won't let 20 people park so that they can eat there, someone is getting in trouble.
We have done this AT Alderwood mall before. We can park as long as we are there to do something related to the mall (eating, shopping, seeing a movie). 100% guarantee it!

In the original post about this I didnt see anything in regards to the meet being us all eating at a restaurant together. It seemed like what Ryan said "Parking lot Pimpin". Yes, if we all park, go to the restaurant, eat and do whatever in the mall, we should be fine. Hanging out by our cars, no.
Well that is why I picked the mall so there is something to do instead of chillin by the cars. I will clarify more on another thread so there won't be any confusion. The mall has food, parking, entertainment, etc. Where else can we park and have fun?
Hey whats the longest you guys run your synthetic oils? Previous owner was using AMSOIL which I think i'll stick with but I don't know that I feel comfortable runing it 10K without a change. Even if the oil lasts that long what about the filter its probably packed by then. What brand of filters do you guys like and why? I was running OEM or Wick's on my DSM.
I change every 3k and rotate tires at the same time
used to use oem filters, used amsoil and going back to napa gold i think. the amsoil one is taller than stock which i don't like, napa gold is exactly same size as stock

^ No, she's stock right now. We just got some Swift Spec R for her IX, but we have to look into rebuilding her Bilsteins (over 100k miles them) before putting them on.
Not sure what TNT is.
You should look at your strut hats to make sure there is grease in there. It's an easy thing to check to rule out if that's causing the noise. You can pull the middle black piece up and see if the person that installed the springs put more grease in after they were done.

Amsoil oil filter is shorter than OEM.
In addition, the micron filtering of Amsoil has been consistantly lower than WIX or OEM, INCLUDING double stinting the filter to reach 10K miles which they advertise.
I also take this information from a person who is in the field of oil testing. Sorry its not internet here-say or unicorn spray-farts. Oil Doc will suppy you with the technical data if you can get in touch with him.

I will agree with you on the Mits Filter...
Not so much on the reason to run a quality filter... I have seen Fram filter implode and cause puked engines and I have seen holes in the media of Frams close to 1/8 of an inch.
I have also seen filter cans seperate from the Base Plate and have seen filter rot off or the cans are so thin that they crush with minimal force when you are trying to take them off.. This goes to the quality of construction and materials used.
I have been inside of many engines and have never seen bearings that look "new" except for a couple that let loose with only a few miles on them. They can look good but will usually have scuff marks and scratches in them. The scratches are from particulate. Even if they looked good, if you didn't Plast-Guage them, they could have been sanded.
Filters are rated for Micron and Flow among other things and for what we are talking about in this instance, we will concentrate on Micron Ratings...
The human eye can see to approximately 40 Micron, so we are talking some pretty small particle here. A Fram will have a Nominal Micron Rating around 33-40 depending on the filter.. A WIX for the Evo has a Micron Rating of 19... These are Nominal Ratings (50%) In Comparison, the AMSOIL EA Series is the Best filter you can buy, conservatively rated at 15 Micron Absolute.
Now, for where this is going..... 65% of wear caused by dirt in an engine, is caused by Particles in the 5-25 Micron range..
250K is nothing on a well maintained engine... I have 345,000 miles on my very abused work van with 25,000-35,000 mile oil changes using AMSOIL and AMSOIL Filters..
