Ryan, I may have to schedule some time with you. I was victim of a sizeable rock being thrown up by a passing motorcyle which left a nice little dent on my front left wheel well and some really nice scuff marks on the clear bra that won't wipe off.
It would take about 20 hours (in my estimation) to wet-sand the entire car and you run a very high risk of causing damage which would require re-spraying color.
For my car I did the very long-winded approach and touched up most of the damage/scratches, then wet-sanding just those spots and then the full detail. It kept more paint on the car and it looks pretty good.

Love weather like this! Clean car, errands to run for work and just mashing around in the evo with all the windows down. I especially love ripping through the tunnel going on I5 south and taking the 196th st exit. SUPER Loud!!!
That is still the goal, a full front-end re-spray. However, sourcing a hood and front bumper has proven to be much more difficult than anticipated.
In order to do the clear-bra I want to have brand new painted surfaces (cured 60 days), which will require extra body parts to spray. And since all i've been able to get is a drivers side fender the project is still stalled out
You can get the dent taken care of this saturday by Kyle of Carmedic. He is a sponsor for the Mitsubishiparts.net meet and has done work on approximately 15 evo's from these forums.
The clearbra carries a lifetime warranty. You can go to the shop which installed it and they will fix and/or replace the damaged product.
My rule is that if I dont think i can polish it out I was touching it up. (4 coats of touch-up over 5 days with 10 days to fully cure prior to sanding)
The front bumper and hood had far too many chips so I hit the large spots and left the rest.

ugh.... Not my finest moment. I got the Mitsubishiparts.net meet mixed up with the meet at the renton Mitsubishi dealership meet this saturday (its on FB).
So he wont be there this saturday.
His number: 253-720-0860
Please note that i'm not telling you to go elsewhere cause I dont want to help, its that they are better resources to get it fixed at little/no expense.

Hey Ryan, you seem pretty serious about the apearance of your car. So I was wondering what do you think about organizing a wash and shine meet at a local supporting business. The idea being we meet up with some dirty cars where we can wash/ wax them. Maybe even have a car or two to demonstrate some buffing on and try out different products while learning some proper teqhniqes from a professional. Then buy a bunch of products that we like from said business and give them some exposure.

^ The caffeine and Gasoline is a great way to get some basic detailing methods and info!
Over the years i've used a lot of products and Griots makes some that I havent found a better replacement for (Speed shine, engine cleaner, rubber cleaner, interior cleaner and engine gloss).
However, IMHO their entire line of waxes, polishes, orbitals and silly orange pad are very sub-par.
In the past i've organized a few (seven?) big wash days with 5-15 cars showing up. The reason why I dont really put them on anymore is that it ended up being a giant PITA for me. Everybody got to have fun and chat, but I had to run around like a chicken with my head cut off working on everybody's car or preventing people from doing something silly to their paint.
By the end of the day the chemicals would be in various states of broken-bottles, empty or (GASP!) mixed together, towels would be full of pine needles or grease, nobody really helped clean up and tools would be missing. Replacing everything would often cost $50-150 and I finally gave up on the idea of it.
Hope that doesnt sound too disenfranchised, but it really was a giant headache to put on and a free-for-all on my detailing supplies.
