I haven't even gotten my forms. I'm waiting on 2 1099's and one W2. And my employer is now a Canadian company that doesn't know about US tax forms. T_T

filed mine, I was like "damn, I only made 14.5k this year" then I remembered "oh yeah I was deployed in tax free zone for half of it" lol. Still getting a decent amount back, half going to the car the other half to pay some stuff off.

waiting for my w2. I'm going to be swimming in tax returns.

I'm a Niners fan. I'm very sad that Williams gave the Giant's a free ticket to the superbowl. I think the Giant's should invite Williams to come with them to the superbowl since he got them there.

Crazy how both games were won by only 3 points.

Me too! Except it might be literal for me.... Working in a tax firm and all.

Ken, Your tax situation should have been pretty easy to forecast with making all the bonus checks last year that got you to Arizona. Maybe you need an accountant to do some better forecasting and keep that money in your pocket all year long, rather than a big fat (waste of a) tax refund?

To be honest, I enjoy getting a few grand around tax time. It works as a little car fund.

Im sure I could take that and put it in a savings acound and make 0.05% on that money for the year but that interest would only gain me a cup of coffee at years end.

The most I ever got back was when I was unemployed for a year and a half. I paid 0 taxes, and somehow got 1800 back.

This year, I have no idea. 2 Contracts for the same job because of an acquisition, and a W2 from being pulled on full time. Still no tax paperwork..

My girlfriends brother is a lawyer for the IRS. I don't know if this is awesome or horrible yet. lol
