Is it because the alcohol is less dense than regular gas?? So the car is injecting what it thinks is the correct amount??

See here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=339703

Particularly l2r99gst's post.

The ECU is stupid when its in closed loop...it just looks at the maps and tries to send whatever amount of fuel the maps tell it to send. This is regardless of fuel type. No attempt to hit a specific AFR (stoich) as in open load.

Realistically the sensors measure unburnt fuel. The same quantity of pure fuel vs fuel/alcohol mix is going to have a higher ratio of fuel going in to begin with. But of course this is 1:19AM logic/theorizing so.....

What is wrong with Seattle or the world?

Forecast says that on Sat and Sun, there will be rain and snow.

Even today, there was snow at Everett.

No kidding, Global warming? I don't know but I went into a store without a coat in Auburn and walked out into a hail storm. Not an enjoyable walk to my car! Was going to go to DriftOffice this weekend for the Dyno but sheesh who knows now!
