you never need bigger injectors on a stock turbo, unless you are running e85

Anyone recommend an alarm (preferably compustar) with remote start and turbo timer?
Also how much to get it installed professionally? Thanks

Thanks for all the comments, someone did recommend bigger injectors, so I'm glad I asked.

As for the alarm, I went with the compustar because of the turbo timer, auto start and, paging system. I paid $650 installed with the ignition kill from IllTech in Tacoma. They gave me great service and were easy to work with. I did have one mishap with the alarm though; I was taking pictures of the inside of the car with the engine running and decided to get one from the back seat. I closed the front door and the f***in thing locked me out. I decided to wait three hours for my wife to get home, for I didn't want to pay the $100+ to have someone unlock it for me. I later called compustar and they said I had it in some mode which I think I've fixed.

I was implying that usually around there you should start looking for some. I wasnt claiming my car has 370+ I believe Chris is still on stock inj. when he did 374, right, but he has an AMS fuel rail...

Are you referring to VIII's and IX's? I am somewhat curious of how some are logging the IDC? I assume through evoscan. Reason I ask is because I hit 98% IDC in my car and I know for a fact my IDC is correct. I know past 6000rpm my IDC went up alot after I got rid of my MBC maybe thats why? I know many of the 3port setups can hit 100% on stock turbo. Not sure on MBC really as I didn't log it as much.

EvoScan IDC is not correct. It will log 120% and you can still have control over the fuel. I dont know why its like that or what its actually logging but 98% on that isnt 98% like an AEM.

I changed all my stuff when I installed my Magnus, cause I picked up Denso 720's and installed them, so I wont know when or if my stock inj. would have been maxed. But when I put down 340 on my VIII TME w/ stock manifold I didnt run out of fuel on pump and this was on 22psi and a walbro...obviously...

Nope

I only turn that off in cars without cats that wouldnt pass anyway. All cars with a cat (whether stock or HFC) it stays on though I give the owner the choice of disabling it at the time I tune if they are reasonably certain they will put a testpipe on in the future.

I am fairly certain my evoscan is setup to correctly show the IDC though. The correct calculation is IPW*RPM/1200 right? I mean it could be possible the IPW function is not correct throwing off the calculation? I would suspect thats not the case though.

I did notice this IDC on cold nights when my boost was holding strong to 20psi at 7k. Just makes me curious. I am moving on to a 3port here and from what I have talked to Bryan about I am already out of injector.

I know another thing to consider is for some reason the stock injectors are scaled at 513cc. Is that there for safety margin purposes? I find it odd that over 100% can be logged because in all actuality anything over 100% is static. I have always been told anything over 90% on atleast pintle style injectors can be a little unsafe even though it does work? I really don't want to swap out mine but atleast in my case I have seen quite a few people upgrading injectors with similiar mods: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...light=ARC+dyno My car is almost a spitting image of his expect I run 92oct to his 91oct.
