Not sure what you mean. I am not saying M1 is bad. I am just saying M1 is made from petroleum base stock + hydoprocessing vs synthetic base stock like amsoil. Its not as good but thats why its cheaper. Oildoc on here can explain it alot better but thats basically how it works out. There are more than a couple tests floating around that reflect the oil anaylsis results also.

 

Just ordered the 3.5" intercooler kit from ETS. Can't wait to get it on.

What mods are needed for 272 cams? I'm thinking of going with Brian Crower or HKS.

 

Let us know when you get the fmic? And how much are you willing or wanting to spend on cams? I would recommend GSC S1/S2 or Kelfords. You wont need mods per say, but maybe a tune after you get them installed. You will need...if you are **** like me. New valve cover gaskets w/ spark plug gaskets. And then some assembly lube and the cam tensioner tool.

 

B/c he is a spokesman for Amsoil? He is very inconsistent and biased in my experience w/ him on this forum and only comes on every once in a while and its usually only to promote Amsoil and not educate people...Dont get me wrong, I think Amsoil is a great product.

 

i would suggest picking up a set of GSC s1's, they do not require after market springs or retainers.

 

Yes he may be a spokesman for Amsoil but he usually presents good info. Regardless of what he says, M1 is still refined from petroleum base stocks then hydrocracked unlike Amsoil or Motul. I run M1 in my dd integra but no longer in the evo. I guess if you don't track your car it probably makes no difference, I can tell though after a few track events that Amsoil worked better for me. Just my 2c

5% tint? wow..don't you afraid you will be bothered by the cops?
