Yep there from Silverdale. Brad the owner is really cool. I have been going there for awhile. He has a badass vette too. Hoping to get him to come to the BSCC lapping day and get a ride in it

Says in your owners manual to run Mobil1 if you want a warranty though...

10w-30 or equivalent, I have read the manual many times. Hell I have had Korum do a few of my changes and I bring the Amsoil.

What the F is wrong with people!

Jake I think that warranty is that thing they said that they won't cover or something like that.

Holy s**t Chris!!!! I hope you did call the cops, that could easily be deadly. I don't have any brake lines, but in a pinch there's a place down in old downtown Tacoma that can make brake lines, etc. Tacoma industrial supply I think it's called. I've been there a few times back in my GTi days. That'd at least get you back on the road. I'd seriously check out any car you park outside if someone seriously cut your lines. It's not possible suspension travel/tire changes caused it to cut thru? That's about as scary as it gets...

I've had my oil changed at every dealership in King/Pierce county at this point now. Walker, Korum, Puyallup, and the new dealer in Renton (Well I bought the oil, changed myself last night) and all carry Mobil1 full synthetic, and every one has stressed warranty when I was getting scheduled.

I believe it's illegal for a dealer to state that unless you use a certain product, such as oil, that your warranty is void. There's a federal law called the Moss Magnuson Act.

Its refined off of a Group III base stock. Technically only has to be 10% synthetic to be called true synthetic. All your Amsoil, Motul, Eneos are all refined out off Group IV base stock or even full ester. There are many posts about it. Been like that for a couple years now.
