No I am not confused...I have worked at Firestone as a tech I am saying you have already had one misdiagnosed problem how do you know for sure its right this time? It probably is but just saying you won't know for sure until it's fixed. A wheel bearing is a very simple item to diagnose (maybe not for Mitsu but thats not surprising) so I am sure you are good. Firestone is a pretty good shop for simple work to be done.

sucks... i would have taken any mods like that off before going to a mitsu dealer... they really don't care if it caused it or not.

Wheelbearings make godawful noises when they're failing, how could they misdiagnose that?!?

it could be another godawful noise coming from a wheel... Like a rock in the brakes. Man, I hate that noise! I'm just kidding of course, anyone who knows what they're talking about can tell the difference.

If anyone needs a respray let me know. Was gonna redo mine, but I'll be getting a new intercooler since my last one was bent from my accident last week.

I had it done at Tacoma Rubber & Stamp. They cut it out of some sort of plastic. Yeah, they did a great job.

Mitsubishi did...who says a Firestone employee can't (although I doubt they did)? Most Firestone's have only 2-3 trained/certified employee's unless its a larger office. The rest are just general service tech's.
