WOW! I really want the race version. Sucks that the car wont run without the acd controller! I think I may have to get this though when I have enough for the core charge or if my car is down for something else at some point.

I would not want an acd reflash until they publicly tell about the flash. Im taking percentages not just what kind of driving they think it is for.

I have seen all the gruppe s threads, i have still yet to see what exactly the reflash does. I see what it is for and what the effects are but not what it is doing.

If you go to the Socal forums they explain it quite well and there are already people that have raced with it and a good amount of people that have it. It should go quite well since its much cheaper than all the other solutions and pretty much the same exact thing.

Go read about it Better rotation, quicker lockup, less delay. Essentially its like putting a more aggressive rear diff in.

It won't matter as much for those other cars though. Weight/power differences aside I can't think of any other car other than the Evo VIII/IX that is missing such a key handling component as AYC.

Its not called "hero mode" for nothing

Yeah I saw it. But you know me, I'll let a bunch of people try that out first and then wait for the feedback on it. Sides you, GTiRules, nothere, jid etc. will get way more out of that than I will.

ACD tuning is going to be the true next handling weapon once people get enough time with it...outside this country people have been shelling out for the "custom" setups for a while (ralliart used to make one....maybe cusco did too?).

From what I read they somewhat mirrored what the Garage HRS controller does which is really popular in Japan. I agree though I have only seen a handful of reviews...I won't pull the trigger until I see some real track feedback from some of the track guru's.

I've been there and read that whole thread, and they don't tell you at all what they're doing. Another thing they keep dodging is the adverse effects to the diffs. Any time the diff can't go fully open, when you turn, something has to give, be it the tires or the diff itself. I'm heavily interesting in ACD modification, but the literature is so sketchy.
