^ Some of us meet up once in a while at the Krispy Kreme's in Tacoma on Friday night. On the 6th of June there's a meet at the XXX.

 

Turn the car on, open the hood, and see if the fan turns on after a minute or two...

 

Couple different ways you can do it. First turn on your AC...this should automatically kick your fans on intermittently. Thats how most cars are so I assume your 2g is.

Another way is to manually trigger them. Their should be a diagnostic box on your car by the fuse panel/relays. You can use a paper clip and jump the two and that should trigger the fan. Just have to find out what terminals they are. Obviously if they come on then the fan works...if they never come on by themselves most likely the relay could be toast.

Pretty easy affair to do but it might be better to take it to somebody to diagnose if you aren't familiar with those procedures. Theirs quite a few ways to track down those problems as they are fairly common.

 

Any of you going to the NWMotoring meet on Sat? Trying to see if I'll recognize at least a few cars/members there

Just picked up a Holset H1e... Anyone run one on a evo yet. I guess they are comparable to a Gt 40r, not in price but in size. Think Im going to try it?
