It was a complete v2.0 ETS short rout intercooler pipe kit (lower/upper) and ETS intake v2.0 that was to fit with the v2.0 intercooler piping kit.

and it did not fit.

Please let me know what else you need to know.

I cant scan joey's invoices from work but yes, purchased BNIB and shipped direct from ETS headquarters (aka: Cobra Command), shipped back to ETS, replaced with BNIB ETS products, BNIB ETS products still dont fit.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Joey's car. Nothing seems to fit right. We have several shops that install our products and never have a problem, English Racing being one of them.

I thought the problem was resolved, but maybe not? I know he has our first version UICP and revised intake, the revised intake does not work good with the first UICP, we ended up sending a new UICP and I haven't heard of a fitment problem? Maybe i'm wrong?

I didn't have problems either. I thought I did on the LICP, and hacked my own fix, but realized I had a piece leftover from the previous, two-piece system.

I helped him re-install the new setup you guys sent and its still not fitting. He was at the UICP/Intake for about 90 min before I showed up, so we had two people on it and after a further 90ish minutes we had "something that works".

The intake/piping coupler had to be cut drastically and the piping cut to allow it so sit somewhere near where it was intended (absolutely would not fit without modification). The result is that the setup has what I would generously describe as "unacceptable" fitting on the intake pipe. He has pics and can post them up, but the couple is essentially correcting poorly designed intake tubing. This results in approximately a 1" gap between the coupler and pipe at the induction point which sevearly restricts intake flow. Either make the intake pipe mandrel bent or all silicone piping to get rid of this.

We had to put rubber bracing between the frame where the pipe goes down by the ACD pump due to contact with the rail, the intake pipe needs a few more degrees of bend and about a 3 minute rotation towards the rear of the car (and revised dump tube) to avoid all the points of contact.

The materials and fit/finish are top notch, no doubt. But there are some fitment issues.

Could you run the setup from the box? Yes.

Would it, in its current configuration rub in multiple places causing issues? Yes.

Does its setup, out of the box, sevearly restrict intake flow? yes (again, Joey can post up pics of this)

lol I can't even find a 1500mm in stock. I ended up buying a 1600mm one... If I were you, I'd just get an APR one. Voltex Wings are stupidly priced, don't ask me why I bought mine

as far as ETS fitting, I had their UICP before and it fits good. Their LICP which is still on my car fits just as well. I'm not sure what the problem is but my friend runs the whole system including intake with short route and it looks amazing. That's the reason why I went ETS in the first place after seeing his car when I first got mine.

Michael at ETS has great customer service, even though they forgot my battery terminal on my mini battery and forgot to stencil the logo on the FMIC haha.
