Nope, the poor thing is going to have a battle scar for a while. I have to do my timing belt & water pump first.

^why dont shangie tackle the 60k service? you can wait for russell to have somekind of promotion and buy the supplies from him. if not, i would find out how much the dealer would charge for labour to do the service. that way they can check for some other stuff too. thats what i did for my 30k service and i saved $$$.

He can do it. Hardest part is putting the belt back, setting the timing marks right, and setting that hydraulic tensioner thingy back on. That part took me a while.
