Doh! Good thing is it isn't that bad. I would just repair the bumper (that little dip/dent above the lip can come back out), order a new lip or whatever lip you like. Yank that undertray and leave it off. Makes it easy to check your IC pipes on the fly.

Yeah...but who knows what damage could have occurred if the undertray wasn't there. Maybe none but you never know. I say stock-ish car, get the undertray figgered: either fixed or beatrush (tasty!)
If you don't believe me, get something that measures engine temp accurately to the degree (preferably something digital). On my MS it made a 10 degree difference in cruising temps as measured from the ECM.
^this too. However, there was some fairly significant damage done to that undertray; I'm not sure wtf she hit! It is pretty stout down there, and the damage was more likely drag damage as opposed to impact.
I disagree. That undertray isn't really there for protection as much as directing airflow for engine compartment cooling and added downforce to the front end of the car.

It just mostly gets in my way when I have to work on the car. It does give the front bumper a little more structure though.
Well, whatever it was, it was gone by the time I drove by the area in daylight an hour later. I'm guessing a WSDOT truck picked it up, probably right before we drove by cause there was a little congestion just in that spot. I know it was flat when I left, and it seemed to be a solid enough material that it wouldn't fly up. It was some black rectangular thing, but I was on the freeway too, so I hit it going 70 maybe.almost looked like a larger and black version of those chair mats with it folded up, not flatly though....till me.
Anyway, undertray is off, no choice, it was fuggd up. Got to jerry rig the lip so it doesn't flap, but my car would look completely ruhtarded with no lip, not ok like shanes, cause the way mine goes up on the sides.

+1 I don't care about 10 degrees, lol... f**king great answer
it only takes 5 minutes to get the undertrey off if you installed it properly and IMHO it prevented some front-end lift at higher speeds (140mph) when I was "product testing" against a few other cars (the charges were dropped).
However if you dont want to run the trey at all, please let me know if your looking to make a few bucks on those pieces!!!!!
