Too bad we didn't start talking about this sooner; you might have been able to get away with it tomorrow at ShAngie's place.

I'd say do it in the next couple o' weekends. You will want to make sure you give yourself ample time to get stuff delivered (fluids, cabin filter if you have one, etc.). Mitsubishiparts.net can be your friend, unless you want to try other fluids like AMSOil.

Speaking of which; Ryan, what is the word on your AMSOil stuff.
I called that guy Ryan had the hook up from and it's legit. I got 6 bottles of AMSOIL brake fluid from him in like 3 days. It was a little confusing, since he had them drop shipped to my house before I even got a response on the initial order, but it got straightened out with a phone call and I mailed in a check.

Thanks again Ryan for the hookup!

I have a quick question. A downpipe connects to the exhaust manifold right
? Where does the test pipe go? Can someone clear up the 2 for me?

Im looking to buy a few cheapo mods before heading up to English racing to do my 60 k tune up and while up there, get another tune.

Was considering an exhaust manifold, downpipe/testpipe, gsc s1 cams. Keeping stock exhaust on. Is that gonna be a problem?

Ok so my brother-in-law and I are having this "friendly" compatition in reguards to who has the faster car. I have me Evo (497WHP/396WTQ) and he has a stock 05 mustang(I win so far) but he was going to fix the the stang up to challenge me but this morning he calls me and asks what would be a good FRONT wheel drive car that he could get of cheap thats turbo. So me being me i told him to buy a civic (LOL) an turbo it but it will never beat me with his civic (not in an all around race, e.g. drang then curcit race). but then I mentioned the Eclipse GS-T and said for him to try that. What car do u guys/gals think I should recommend next? Now i am a better driver then he is ( i have been racing since i was 14 and my 32 now), he has never raced in his life which is y i think ill will always beat him. what do u guys think i should do and or say to him next? Maybe get the bottom end done to put me at over 600WHP or maybe just mess with him with what i have or something eles?

Why does he want fwd? I would suggest: RX7 w/Ls1 conversion, Nissan 240 w/SR20, Vette, STI, Civic done right, S2000, etc.

Test pipe is the piece that eliminates the cat, if you choose to go that route. Some downpipes have the test pipe section included as one. So it goes straight from the 02 all the way to the cat back. Very loud, very fun, smells funny too. But who cares? Modding is for power is it not?

Also, if you're gonna do the whole downpipe/test pipe idea, you should do your catback too while you are at it.

Ahhhh ok. Got it thanks!. Sounds like im definitely gonna want to go the downpipe route. If i get an aftermarket downpipe, it wont bolt up with the stock catback right? Im gonna need an adaptor of some sort?

If it was made for an Evo, you should have no problem getting all the pieces to bolt up. The flanges are all pretty much the same. I'm sure there are exceptions.
