^there's an echo! Don't do it, Samy!!! There is no sense in wasting the $400 - $600 (or more). If you really want to take it somewhere, look to WestWerks, or some of the other decent local shops. Maybe Drift Office?

BTW - Lucas is a busy man. He'll eventually get back to you. Email is the best method, IMO, or call his cell during business hours (I think that is on the shop recording). G/L!

Let me borow that pump to refill the dif/trans fluid. I need more jack stands and time.

...about to have a lot of time tho.

Let's have a "Bring you tools to Kyle's house and help him perform preventive maintenance on the Evo" Party. I'll get you drunk...afterwards. okay, during.

Okay...So if we have a 30k party at our place, I'll go ahead and cancel the appointment. When shall we have this party?

^host it up, beeches!

Too bad we didn't start talking about this sooner; you might have been able to get away with it tomorrow at ShAngie's place.

I'd say do it in the next couple o' weekends. You will want to make sure you give yourself ample time to get stuff delivered (fluids, cabin filter if you have one, etc.). Mitsubishiparts.net can be your friend, unless you want to try other fluids like AMSOil.

Speaking of which; Ryan, what is the word on your AMSOil stuff.

I'd run the Redline cocktail for your trans. I've tried several different fluids...this is the money shifting stuff You can even make that elusive 1-2-1 shift happen! It's that good! haha

2 quarts of MTL and 1 quart of MT-90.

Heavy weight shock proof in the rear diff with the LSD additive.

+1

30k service is mostly changing fluids. You can replace the cabin air filter yourself in 5 minutes. I get my drivetrain fluids changed once a year at WestWerks in Redmond. They have Diaqueen in stock, Redline (but not MTL, MT90 last I checked), etc., or bring your own lubricants for them to use. Give them a call for a price estimate. Any other competent shop could do this as well.

It would be insane to swap out your intake then take it to dealer for fluid changes!

And, while ER would obviously do a great job, it is not worth the drive for something so simple.

Yeah, too bad you didn't have everything. Would have been a perfect opportunity tonight. So looks llike you guys need to host the next bbq tech day.

For those who haven't read the bbq bonfire thread, its happening tonight. Starting around 8, 8:30 in S. Everett at our place.

Not a bad deal if you have another vehicle that doesn't take higher quality oil

Sears Oil Change

Meh, I don't have enough room for a tech day. Only room for one car to be on jack stands. And I don't have the tools to do the job. We could do a bbq though, that sounds good if ya'll want to come south.

Parking is OK, but I don't think the ground is solid enough to hold a car on stands.

Thanks for the thoughtfulness FORSAKEN, I'll be considering that option.
