Question for you guys. I am thinking about getting a JDM bumper but not running a JDM crash beam for a little while due to money. Now if i got into rear ended accident, would the insurance company (state farm me right now) give me a hard time for the claim for that? just a question before i replace my bumper.
^I think he is saying not running a crash beam (not sure if you caught that). I don't think there is a definite answer Francis, but think of it this way. The insurance company will do whatever they can to pay as little as they can. They have to afford to build professional sports stadiums across the country, afterall (what a crock of SHlT!).
You might end up with an adjuster n00b that doesn't know what to look for, or you might end up with someone experienced that does a small amount of research and sees you're running nekkid. Your call.
Maybe weigh this: $250 for the crash bar (or less, I think the demonwerks, or whatever is $250). Is that more or less than your deductible? Could that be the difference between $1000 in money for repairs? Maybe that will help you determine.
