I do like some Ben Sherman shirts... only thing I hate is that I always have to wear a Medium and not a Small because they are cut so small

I ran into someone by the name of Casey that's on here. He has a dark grey Evo. Good guy by the way! Anyway, he told me about a possible meet again, sometime this month. I'll keep my eyes peeled and check back here for it.

I have an extra stock manifold that I picked up to send in to get ported (which I never got around to), I bought it for $40 and would sell it for the same if you are interested.

Also, I have been on the fence about replacing my stock IX turbo with an FP red. If I had someone interested in my IX turbo, it might push me over. 40k miles on car, turbo should be in excellent condition, would know for sure once it was out of the car. PM me if interested.

Anyone on the east-side good at diagnosing "engine" noises? something on the pulley/belt system squeaks and I've no idea what it is. I have a stethoscope but haven't been able to narrow it down with that. It changes with engine rpm so I know it's something attached on the passenger side of the engine and it's now to the point where i feel slightly embarassed to have this nice squeak to accompany my car. I want to say it's the water pump because it sounds like it's coming from the front of the bay, but i can't hear anything different when putting the stethoscope on it...

^you tried to run no defrost (put the hvac knob to blow air to your feet only, and make sure your temp gauge is not set all the way to the left). Just trying to eliminate some of the system.

Jason, take off your intake pipe and see if the shaft has any back/forth play. Spin it to see if it spins true or makes any noise. That should really tell Tim what he would need to know. I'm sure your turbo is fine.

@ Tye, there is a dyno day down in Vancouver at English Racing, and a meet at BelKirk autobody in Kirkland this coming weekend. Not sure which I'm going to yet. There is also another general meet in a couple weeks at Alki, followed by XXX hamburger in Issaquah.

noise wasn't there when i first started car which leads me even more to think it's the water pump (only when it's under load maybe?), unless it's always under load even when the engine is cold

i tried: (all air were on fan setting 2)
nothing (air off)
2'oclock defrost
2'oclock feet, body, and the split
max ac
10'oclock ac
12'oclock feet, body, and the split
12'oclock defrost
and it made the same noise with all those

i gave it about 10 seconds at each interval before changing it
