A tour would be awesome! I'm extremely busy the rest of this quarter (taking 20 credits :/) and I'm heading home for winter break, but I would be down at the start of the new year! Maybe we can go get a beer or something. Been out of the loop for almost two years, could use some catching up.
Sigh. Looking at that formula car makes me realise that I got involved in the wrong senior project in college. I wrote the controls for a MUAV (Micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that never flew. Controls worked though
Hey, can any one point me in the right direction for snow tires? I've done some searching, and it seems to vary from region to region (for obvious reasons). What do you guys use? I plan on taking it up to Stevens Pass, and maybe other slopes near by. Are studded tires overkill? My evo is slow comparatively. Haha. If that even makes a difference.
After a ton of reading and listening to reviews, I'm going with Blizzaks. LM-60 in 235/45/17 to be precise. The only real complaint I've heard about them were on the E92 (I think) boards, and it was for soft sidewalls, which made handling a bit vague at speed, but someone chimed in and sated the obvious: they're snow tires with a bit of a performance bias, not vice versa.
EDIT: However, I drove all last winter on Hankook Icebears, and they work wonderfully in the snow and ice. Not so much in the rain and dry.
