E85 Shelf Life

Any idea how long the shelf life of E85 is if stored in a racing fuel jug? I use it for track days exclusively, not a daily driver, have been tossing out any E85 over 3 weeks old.

Your wasting it. I've had E98 in 5 Gal jugs (metal and HDPE) since last Summer and it's been fine so far. Can't really test for water content though and that's what your really worried about.

Alternative fuel station opening up in Ft. Lewis in the summer. Unlike the existing E85 station that's only for Gov't. vehicles, it will be available to anyone who has access to the base.

I talked to the manager of Thrashers Corner Shell in Bothell and he said that if they add a Bio Diesel tank that they may add an E85 tank also.

I wish Bangor or Bremerton base would offer this, I've got nothing up here!
