PGP Lap Times
Was out at PGP last week. Ended up running 1:25 lap times as my fastest:

From hand-timing turbotim he was doing about 1:20 from his video and spools4fun was doing 1:15. There's also the video of Scott in R/T Ernie's car doing about 1:09.
Curious what the other folks time have been.

Looks good man, your driving looks really smooth and consistent. I was running 1:16's out there my first time on worn street tires, but I am probably down quite a bit of power from you guys.

1:16 on the first time out seems good. This was my first time out as well. The car isn't very powerful. I haven't spent much on power mods...and its specifically tuned to be far away from the edge. It's probably 290-300 to the wheels at best.
Yea PGP is fun! I think I was runnin consistent 1:20's and a few times when I really got a good lap in I got down to the 1:16 range...I had my GF in the passenger seat most of the time yelling at me to slow down or she was gonna throw up hahahaha I'll never forget that! Classic!

Yeah I wish I could myself. But I can't burn another weekday this year....if they offered this at least once a month on Sunday morning or the likes I would be very happy.
I plan to be back out there next year. I bested a 1:10.0, however scooter was still faster.
. Ive since switched from blown skunk2s to ohlins, added about 200hp, and dropped another 50 pounds off the car.
.
The fastest awd time was done by Eric hymans r35 gtr @ 1:08.6 iirc

Had a blast today but was the only Evo there. There was a full competition crazy go-kart that was practicing, a bunch of s2000's, a wrx set up for autox and a new GT3. There were other cars as well - actually turned out to be quite busy by the time I left but had a blast.
Don't have a solid timing equipment yet but looking at cobb AP data logs in the three sessions I went out:
Session 1: first hot lap was 1:27ish and only got one more clean lap in that session because I let the crazy kart by and the GT3 as I was keeping space with him in the curves but he was just on me after that little back straight so I let him by. Looks like 1:22ish is what I got there.
Session 2: hit 124ish in the first full lap and got down to 1:21 by the end.
Session 3: started 1:23ish and hit 1:19ish in what looks like lap 3 but I had to stop right after that because I had to get back to work and the Hawk HPS (not plus) were getting hot faster and faster.
Hopefully they decide to add another day in September as it was a great time. I'll definitely be there at least once a month when they open up again next year.
