E85 in Washington

I'm new to the area and I was thinking about converting to E85 at some point and time.

I checked out an E85 station on Ft Lewis but I don't think it's open to the public. Is there an E85 station anywhere near Lakewood, Ft Lewis, McChord that I can even use? I just looked at a map and Portland has tons of E85 stations

JBLM is private. You can get a pass to enter and pump if you're visiting a military member. Otherwise, your next closest station is The Shell station in Lacey on Pacific Ave.

Alot of us do, but most of us have to travel to get it. If you can get on post, you can get E85 at Ft. Lewis. If not, better start planning some trips down to Lacey.

Where do I go to get a pass to us E85 on Ft Lewis? Do you have a number I can call or an address I can go to get the pass?

Sorry for the newbie questions

You need to know someone first. Once you have a reason to get on post, is as easy as going in the front gate to the pass office and getting a permit. Of course, someone with a gov ID will have to pump and pay though.

Tony (has just under 7 months until the switch to E85)

I live on base and have a government ID card

I just don't know if I can roll up to the E85 pump and get gas? I drove there the other day and it seems you need a special card to use the pump
