Hi Portland

I'm from SoCal but i used to live up in Tigard OR which were some of the best years of my life...

People are very different from Oregon and SoCal as I'm sure some of you know which is why I will be taking my family up for the weekend of the 19th to visit....

I wanted to know whats going on up there around that time since I havent been up there in about 10 years... or things to do

Whatever info is appreciated...We will be driving and I wanted to know how the roads were. We will probably go to canon beach and eat at camp 18, Omsi for the kids(I dont know which movie we will watch) etc etc.

There is a lot more people now. Not like SoCal but much different than before. Camp 18 is still great!

 

My hope when I left in 94 was that it would never become like Socal... too many people here... But lots of nice shiny days to work on cars, though its funny that tonight its 55 degrees and we are suffering. I remember standing at the bus stop in Tigard and my hair would literally freeze but it didn't feel that cold

Good to here 18 is still up. We hope to do the camp 18 canon beach astoria and back to portland route
