I actually had the car chosen to be sponsered by Sport Compact Pro or SCP. I was awarded a 12,500 dollar co-sponsership. I decided not to spend any more money on the car as i felt there was little left to do to it besides the motor work, but if someone was intrested in working up the car, I have the contract on hand as well. Maybe the winner could inform them about the sponsership. I was awarded for the 03-04 season, i never went through with it, but it gives a good idea of the potential that this car has in the hands of the right owner, and there may a chance to get it renewed/started, but no guarantees on my part.
such a scam.

Ive got proof of that. They told me i would get parts for wholesale, but i had to commit to 3 events in the 03/04 year. I really did not feel like spending anymore cash on a "mustang", as i would have had a credit line of 12.5k but i still had to pay roughly 40-45% out of my own pocket. Id rather get an evo and re-apply for a sponsership this is def. not a scam my friend, ive got the contract to prove it.

there are a hundred threads from that same company about being scammed.
they used to be known as racer X now they are Sport Compact Pro.

you pay 80 for an application.
they 'pick your car' (they pick everyone by the way)
then they sell you items from their shop at a slightly discounted rate.

Same here, a lot better than I expected. And the kit is painted (to the contrary of what I see in person with wild mustang kits )!

bump for an interesting car.
