The evolution of my Evo IX RS Wicked White
Great thread and I'm hoping my rs will at some point be on your level. For now I'm still doing the poor mans racing, auto x. I recently purchased an RS and I'm still adjusting to the non abs. Any suggestions on brake pads that bite but have a lot of "feel" so I know how close I am to locking it up? Thank you and great looking car!

big noticeable difference. i have the wing on lowest AoA and the car is very stable. even push at times. before i had the diffuser, when i had the wing on lowest AoA, the car was very loose, almost undrivable. i think when i build a new bigger splitter, i will be able to add more AoA back in the wing till the car is balanced and will have more downforce overall. will also try to make some canards.
unfortunately i didn't have time to removed the rear diffuser to make some laps and compare data. the schedule was pretty hectic. i'll try to get data with diffuser on and off at next event at njmp. nasa NE schedule is more lax and i can run in more groups.

This is one of my favorite mod in a long time. Should have done this a long time ago. I initially tap the signal wire to the ignition coil pin out at ecu but couldn't get it to work. So I tap into the RPM wire behind the gauge(took awhile to find because its not same color as the pin out from ecu) which turns out to be simpler, less wires to run. I was also able to get power and ground from the harness for gauges cluster.
The tach light has many features and adjustability but kinda confusing to setup because there's only two buttons. It has light sensor which auto dim for night, and total brightness also adjustable. Different way to show rpm trace as it climb to redline.
