how do you like the Exedy OEM clutch? any issues while tracking the car? I've been interested in this clutch, since I'm happy with stock clutch and my car is only making around 290hp to the wheels.

Its probably not the first time its been done. I was going to get one of my fabricator/welder friend to make some to sell but then I thought about fitment issues since I made mine for exact fit for my setup.

The exedy oem fell just like stock which I like. I have friends that have tracked evos for 3 years on stick clutch with 340 whp without any issues. My car will make at most 320 whp because of my class. You don't launch on track like you do at drag strip, so as long as it's not slipping in top gear then its fine.

you can get it at jegs. It's just adhesive backed heat shield.

yeah, i know what you meant. i was just saying that someone might have already used this battery in the evo already. there's was also a Hyundai/Kia size battery that was slightly smaller and would have been a better fit but it also cost twice as much because it was not a common size.
