Yea it has turned into quite a project, just want it to be finished and start at this point! And awesome im looking forward to getting the parts. i love your car. i'm not usually much for RR, but i can look past that with everything done to it lol.

also, dynotech is awesome. just got back from my yearly MA trip not long ago, and the friend i stay with drives an apex silver IX that's had almost all of its work/tuning done there. i can't say enough for how they made that car feel... seems like the boost never ends after he got the cams put in

 

Yea i like the red now, really wanted WW but i cant complain, i bought the car from one of the most knowlegable evo owners in the industry Kunal (aka Kuniiizzzeee dial-in), who i am very good friends with and a car that was never beat on. Cant ask for much more. That and there are only 378 9rs in the country. spent 11 months till i bought it. but im hoping later in the season to change alittle of the coloring if i have the money, Carbon hood, trunk, roof, and maybe doors, but that might have to wait till next year.

And im looking forward to meeting the guys up there. works out great for me as my gf lives 30 mins from the shop so we can visit her family have a place to stay and chill! I cant wait to see the trans after they are done. Going to be nasty, and im doing the tuning so i wont know what Jamie's tuning will feel like but from what ive seen and heard he is quite the mastermind and does amazing work!

CF hood is heavier than our RS hoods, just fyi if you're looking to save weight :P

Saw your signature and that Kuanl tuned your car. Did Kunal tune your car at the shootout last year? Silver car right? I think i saw a video about it when i was talking to him. If so i just wanted to say the car looks great! Very well done!

 

Dry carbon hood and trunk would be the lightest option. Most expensive too..

 

Not worth the weight savings... At all! Imo

 

Build is looking good man!! In regards to weight savings, I would just look into a cf trunk for now. Like other said, unless you are dropping some $$ on dry cf it's really not worth it for the hood.

No problem was a really clean and good looking car and made some good power. Hell be helping a little but ill be doing the tuning myself!
