A few questions i know you have refused to answer some of these before, but u can PM me if u like. Im just keen to know the following as im building a time attack evo in Australia utilizing a standard evo 9 turbo as well

1. How much boost will you be running?
2. How much power will you be looking at?

Just want to know the following to see how far off my set up is atm.

Thanks champ! Feel free to PM me if you want

Jamie is 100% correct. Can't wait to make it there. Just had my slide hammer dilemma solved

1. Push the car till we hit 9s nothing held back, either going to make the goal or break trying I dont want any what ifs or excuses. All out!!!
2. Any chance I can get timing trim per gear patch Jamie?

ive been told by a lot of people here in Australia that the standard evo 9 turbo is out of its efficiency range after say 26psi. however ive been running 28-30psi on it. I understand that if its out of its efficiency range the turbo will still make power per psi, just not as much. Thats why im asking.

I also see you have a manual boost controller, so im guessing you will crank that up to max aye? :P

As for asking how much power you think you will be making out of the standard evo 9 turbo is because i want to see how it compares to our Australian figures as the maximum power ive recorded here in australia is 285kw atw with the standard evo 9 turbo on e85 at 26psi. just want to know where the limit of the e9 turbo is at thats all

ah nice 430hp! is that on e85 or e100 or something similar to that?

its good to know that they put down 430hp to the tyres gives me a jist on what is capable out of the standard turbo

In your opinion would you recommend porting and polishing the head with the use of the standard turbo?

oh another question you dont need to go into detail just a simple yes or no answer would be fine

1. will you be porting and polishing the head?
2. stock valves or larger valves?

thanks

I hope so. Money is really getting tight and im trying to finish the car right and done perfectly. I refuse to half *** any part on this build even if it delays the time frame of completion. Theres all season to race and im going to have the fastest stock turbo. No offense to anyone and im not trying to sound cocky, but that is the goal for the car and i refuse to not achieve it.

So yes the plan is to do that as well as 4 corner wheel balancing and custom alignment and suspension set up specs that me and dynotech have come up with.

Hope your doing good! you should come out when i go racing since your in NJ. I should make it to atco

UPDATE!!!! Long over due but here is some recent progress.

1st i have the full wheel setup now both my slicks and rims have arrived, just waiting on some 20mm spacers to arrive! Im running Rota SlipStream Rims with M/T Drag Slicks.

2nd I have begun pulling the tcase and it will be out tomorrow and the new one will be up and installed! I have some pictures of the progress of this and got hung up as i needed a slide hammer so once i got one i was finally able to get that input shaft out of the trans!

3rd I fianlly got the Bumper Shutters installed that Jason (AngryAero) made and they fit great. Held on solely by 3M tape. However i will be putting rivets in as they will always stay on the bumper and i want to take no chances!

Tomorrow I should have tcase removed completely as well as double pumper installed! Onto the pictures!

All my parts for Collin are due to arrive this week.

Tire and Rim Setup

Transfer Case Removal and install progress

Input shaft is out TCase will be dropped tomorrow! Needed a second set of hands for added safety to not drop it! Taking NO CHANCES until the drag strip!

AngryAero Bumper Shutters installed LOOKS SICK!!!

The build just keeps looking better and better man. I am eager to see how much this car weighs when you get ready. My car is still in the shop but as soon as it comes back ima do some quick weight reduction as well. Good luck with everything and look forward to more updates
