Seriously, I've been seeing this more and more. This happened to me two years ago and twice recently to my friend Svendiesel on here. All three times there was red loctite and torqued properly. I'm beginning to think there's a design flaw.

the idling issues are caused by the angle of the throttle plate in the boomba its an easy fix. I had a customer 2 days ago with a surge issue at idle and he adjusted the plate and it fixed it.

so if you wanna mess with that and see if you can get it stable then ill get the rest taken care of.. you're more then welcome to get the idle fixed yourself if you want also then contact me when it needs power tuned. id idle the cams around 1300rpm though.. 5r's are big.

we would need to schedule a time to work on it. contacting me at tom@tscomptuned.net is easiest.

i should probably remote tune that car on a dyno.. thats going to be kind of dangerous to street tune that thing unless you got secluded areas in FL.

Last time I checked, I was thinking we were going to attempt both a street tune and do a final run or two on the dyno. I'll let C130 chime in though.

so you are modifying the full blown to basically have a BISS ?

if so ill send you mine id like that done also. quicker then going through iscv and constantly reflashing changes.

or you can pm me what you're doing. i have a drill and stuff. but that sounds like a really good mod for those who like to adjust that stuff on the fly.

Also I would like to throw it out there that you should never have to adjust a BISS screw.

Base idle set screw works with the idle air controller. it doesn't move the throttle plate on the stock throttle body.

on the boomba and full blown it does though. i think that's whats confusing you.. so in this case your comment above is very bad information for others on stock throttle bodies.

The BISS on stock throttle body is an ISCV tuning knob. in association with the SAS actuator freezing the ISCV in place you can fine tune the ISCV which will adjust the stepping range.
