Yeah the place doing it is no stranger when it comes to HG sealing. It'll be picked up Sunday and off to the shop

If you're comfortable drilling/tapping, use the bottom half of the thermostat housing. If not, "T" into any of the rubber coolant lines. Autometer sells several different styles of water pressure gauges.

Idk once I got rid of the copper gasket everything stopped leakin? Haven't had an issues since. I mean Idk how you would do a head gasket wrong, specially with a copper head gasket being its pretty self explanatory.

Turns out the car is now getting a TRE 12-plate max lock rear diff while its down.

The rear diff in my daily driver burnt up from using the OEM spare ( I didn't think this would be an issue since the car is on OEM wheels with OEM tire size). Well, mitsubishi is stupid and turns out the diamater of the spare is 23.x and not 25.3 (stock diameter). I took the stock rear diff out of the black car and put it in my daily driver. Burnt up diff from daily is getting the rebuild/upgrade service from TRE which will go in the black car. Kind of works out

Did you do the receiver groove in block? (or head). If not, that's an instant disaster. You also have to seal the water jackets correctly or they will leak.

Yeah the block got the receiver groove and the head had the oring. I believe it was because when I had the head done they used ss oring material and didn't seal that great. Again once I swapped to the oem mls I never had an issue.

SS oring is what you would want to use. I'm guessing your car sealed compression very well but was leaking from the water jackets?

Honestly Idk where it was coming from. It did push coolant for a bit till I got tired of it and was able to take it down again. I made sure everything would seal but it just didn't like the setup I guess. After I did the hg change I drove it hard for about 5 months before I moved and found the new body and it never once leaked. I guess it is just one of those weird things.
