Excuse me sir, I don't think you have enough air ducts going to the air filter, are you sure you can't fit a 5th duct in there? haha....Definitely a little messy but I'm sure it works pretty well. What if you changed the top scoop/ducts so they were routed the same way as the stock plastic top scoop? Instead of having them wrap all the way around the bov. You would have to modify you air box again but it would look a lot cleaner & use less material. I guess you just felt like using all 10 ft (minimum order) of duct piping from that website you posted, haha...

One of the scoops will go down and out of sight and the other will probably go into the top of the airbox. Then when it is all done I'm probably going to send it to Chad to make me one that is welded instead of riveted. He can jig them and sell them at that point if he wants.....
EGR delete in progress....

Don't get it twisted - There's not way in $hit I'm taking off the I/M just to plug that hole!!! There's nowhere for the exhaust to go, so its not going to be heating it the same it would if it had flow. But if I do a I/M it will be plugged.
Next time it has to come off, Ill remember to plug it.

So last year I took the car to the track once on the road race setup (alignment, stiff R-comps and aero) and first pass ran the 10.4 with a 1.75ish 60', shifting to fifth.
Raised the rev limiter, put on taller, narrower street tires so I could finish in fourth and clocked off a low 1.6 60' and the clutch slipped immediately in fourth and still ran a 10.6@118.
I know that I need a new clutch and I've rebuilt the Exedy countless times - its a terrible clutch for drag racing - So I know I need a quartermaster and since I have to shift into fifth I know I'd be better off getting a taller final drive... So $1350 for the clutch, $600 for install, $1750 for the FD and trans refresh = $4k all said and done.
So I had a concours detail done at Rush Group Detailing including a 3-stage polish and now it sits patiently, looking pretty in my garage and I ride around on an S1000RR.............

Hopefully I might get a nice christmas bonus or a raise or something because I'd like to be able to run a 9 in full street trim and maybe flog it around Road America and finish this project.
It is weird when you get to a point like this with the car. Sometimes you think you should sell it and move the money along to a new project but sometimes I think I want to keep it forever.
