raises the RF and puts more weight on that corner. You have a natural imbalance on the LEFT and FRONT of the car. Helps equal the weight distribution on your grip limited tires.

I had a PTT, which is basically the same just a more street friendly friction material. I now have a QM that I may sell.

hmmm, i hope i get decent mileage out of mine. im pretty easy on clutches. i hardly launch and on my 07 sti i had over 20k miles on an act xtss and it held 500lb/ft at the wheels and would have kept going if i didnt total the car. my damn 2011 wrx on the other hand needed a clutch at 10k miles. the pressure plate wasnt holding anymore at stage 2 power. disc looked like new.

until i have anything exciting to post, here is a vid from the map proving grounds this year. i went with a few friends and we played on the road course a bit. in this one im riding shotgun im my friends superformance ac cobra. it has a 514 bbf with around 600hp and its roughly 2,600lbs. probably the most frightening ride in my life. the car doesnt gradually let go, it just lets go with zero warning. and it did late in the vid (8:00). the oil cooler sprung a leak and we hit the grass sideways at about 70 mph.

my head looks like its thrashing a lot, thats because i forgot to strap my helmet on. halfway thru i figure it out.

it gets good at 3:30 and on after he warms the tires up. you can see him wrenching at the wheel with the lift throttle oversteer.

when im connected to the ecu, all this is blank. offline, its all filled in with the info.

occasionally get this even though i downloaded it in various locations.

shows it as uploading a map, but it never actually makes it to the ecu.

when i try and create an ecu file, i get this.

man, i suck at computers.

pulled it out of the garage to get a pic of the ride height. rears are about as high as they are supposed to go. these are my roll around wheels with stock size tires.

That's pretty high. You could probably put your fist in there.

1 finger in the rear, 1.5 fingers in the front (or horizontal LCAs)

my downpipe is about a fist width off the ground. i cant really go much lower, the roads are bombed out around here. its like driving in downtown baghdad.

Nice build! What are your goals in terms of power?
Just asking because I noticed that you stated your block is filled to the water jackets. Sounds like it will a a hefty amount of power to suffice filling the block.

Its overbuilt for sure, motor can handle 1,000whp no problem. Turbo should be good for 700+whp. Whatever it makes, it makes. Ill be very happy to hit 600whp on 93 oct and 725whp on e85. If i get bored with the power, i can swap the turbo and get it retuned and not have to change anything else.

went for a drive around the block to see how the ohlins ride.

good:
man, these things ride great! my wrx rides like a brick compared to this!

turbo builds boost quick! at part throttle and light load it felt like the stock turbo.

bad: waiting on files for the proefi so i was on the stock ecu in gimp mode.

got into boost and forgot i didnt have clamps on my ghetto rigged licp. blasted it right off onto the road.

turbo sounds pretty cool. the integraded bpv sure isnt silent, quieter than a tial but not silent like a recirc setup.
