how the car is sitting right now. i need a couple clamps, need to plumb the oil pressure sensor and i need to finish up some wiring then it "should" run. one thing i need to figure out is a licp. nobody makes one and i cant weld. ill have to try and find a decent fab shop and get one made.

some random shots of things i did "differently".
im running 2 catch cans, both are allstar catch cans that you can get from amazon for $70 each. these and the moroso cans work as good or better than anything out there. its very tight under the hood so i put one in front of the drivers side tire.

i also drilled and tapped the block in 2 spots by the balance shaft bump. im going to try and use them for crankcase ventilation. if they blow too much oil out, ill plug them up.

also went with a 98-02 mirage radiator. the upper hose is a strait shot lik an evo 4 5 6 and the mounting pins are the same as an evo. one upper mount lines up, the other is offset. i made new straps that you can see in the pics in the previous post.

moved my battery to the trunk and used the stock tray bolts to mount my ethanol content sensor. just a strip of aluminum with a 60 degree bend and a few holes.

wrapped up the wiring, have 2 faults, one for low ethanol content and one for low oil pressure.
ethanol content read as 6% which is most likely correct as our 93 octane has "up to 10% ethanol".
oil pressure was low because the sensor isnt hooked up and i didnt start the engine.
tomorrow i have to install the oil pressure sensor, fill the oil and coolant, bolt the valve cover down and tighten the exhaust. hopefully it runs.....
