nobody makes a lower ic pipe that will fit. ill have to get a custom one made. i will wait until i get my new trans and block it for that, i dont want to cut the trans thats in the car a im going to sell it.
It looks to me that you would need to fab up a center member too that it quite a bit lower as that whole trans bracket moves down so too will the center member have to move to even work... what are your plans as far as that go's?

its been a while since i messed with it, but i di test fit it and the stock crossmember did clear with an aftermarket (smaller diameter) lower motor mount on it.

been busy with work, lacking motivation as the garage is a mess and my back feels like crap. i will start tearing into it some more though soon.
i needed some pins for the proefi and the vendors that have them, want $1 each plus $10+ shipping which i thought was absurd so i had my friend help me figure out what they were. i verifyed them against the prints and the new ones i got. here they are for $0.24 each. 3 more vendors carry them in bulk cheap too, search the part #.

crappy update. lost my job and the chances i will get another one soon that pays nearly the same isnt good so im going to have to sell the car and parts.
i do not have some of the stock parts to return it to stock so i would prefer to sell it as it sits, of course anything not on the car is for sale too. i need to wrap up stuff like putting the fuel sender back in the car, but here is how the car sits. it needs a lower intercooler pipe made, but i will put flex hose on for now so its driveable. i take a lot of pride in my work and do not take short cuts or rig anything. anyone local is welcome to come and look it over.
2003 evo 8, texas car with 85k miles. it has never seen salt and other than the underside having a lot of dust caked on is very clean. stock sized fairly new tires on new 17x8 gunmetal drag wheels. evo 7 tails and headlights are oem hid's painted black.
evo 9 mr se seats in an otherwise clean stock interior.
stock longblock, clutch and trans. clutch grabs high and the 4-5 shift cant be hurried. longblock was stock its whole life and runs great, no oil consumption and zero varnish under the valve cover.
brakes are stoptech pads and centric premium rotors, less than 1k miles.
whiteline roll center kit and offset anti lift kit. ohlins dhv's revalved with swift 10k/12k springs, all parts went around the block and are essentially new.
battery is relocated to the trunk.
ets 4" intercooler anodized black and new. ets upper intercooler pipe, full-race twinscroll efr8374 turbo kit. manifold is black ceramic coated and the downpipe is bare stainless. tial mvs wastegates and full-race dumptubes. mirage radiator with 2 spal fans, pushloc plumbed boost/vacuum hoses. fuel system is stock.
proefi 128 ecu with nearly every option including color can display and tuning cable.
thinking a firm $22k as it sits. turbo kit is over $5k, ohlins are $3,800, proefi was over $3k, intercooler, pipe and all the other stuff is another few $k. im willing to take any of the big $$$ stuff off as long as the car itself is sold and will deduct the cost. i will not sell any parts that are on the car until the car is spoken for. i will sell all the other parts in my build list, ill start posting them in the classifieds tomorrow. pics are all in here.

What were you thinking price wise on shep ultimate ratio 5 speed with billet output shaft,
shep stage 2 t/c with wavetrac, and maybe suspension?

for the shep stuff, ill have to check what i have into them. the trans had every gear but one replaced and the transfer case has a new ring/pinion. probably $2,250 for the trans outright and $2,250 for the transfer case outright.
