You will enjoy that clutch. I'm about to have mine inspected when er pulls my motor and see how it has worn.

So I have heard. I liked my 6 leg a lot, so a more friendly QM sounds amazing.

Nice manifold, I was going to go with a ported skunk2 but i'm leaning more towards the ported curt brown now.. what made you go with the S90 over a full blown? I'm currently having a hard time deciding between the two at the moment and trying to get others opinions

I'd recommend using a 2g clutch accumulator if you plan on street driving that clutch a lot

I know a couple of people who cracked their throttle body inlets on Full Blown TB's. I decided the s90 might be more durable in that regard. As for needing an accumulator, I had a 6 leg, and saw no issues with driving it. Pedal stop made all the difference, and if the 8 leg is easier to drive as people say, I'll be just dandy.

you are a boss, I street drive a lot, the 6 leg made me want to shoot myself in the face, 8 leg is definitely much better and will be cake if you didn't mind the 6 leg. pedal stops and accumulators just make it that much more friendlier I suppose

Time for an update. Car is going on the dyno in a couple weeks when English Racing comes here for IFO. See what kinda numbers she can put down. Motor is broken in and ready for BIG boost.

Parts before going in....

New brake lines and master cylinder from STM.

Motor and trans back in.....almost there....

Woooooot.....lets fire her up!

CAR IS RUNNING!

Been driving it around about 10 days, and MAN am I impressed with how Quartermaster improved the drivablility of the 8 leg compared to the 6 leg clutch. The car is running like a champ for now, and can't wait to see it tuned for kill.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Jason, I saw via FB you were selling your t4 parts. Putting MrBoost back on t3 or Vband? Also, got the green light to start running real boost. Gonna re-torque my head studs and then it's time for 25psi....with 40+ to come when we dyno it.

Yeah....debating putting the lines in or not. I've heard the hta86 can max out on stock lines...but I don't want to hit the wall when it is on the dyno. lol
