Thomas's car gave us a good benchmark to hit at 790/31psi. I can't wait to run 40+psi too.

Ok now Im tracking. I was thinking why not a off the shelf rod and custom piston. But being in a 63 instead of 64 block makes sense.

Looks like I may be switching snails to a FP3786. Not sure on hot side configuration or A/R yet though.

GotWheelHop or Aaron @ ER can someone please explain now this SLR 2.2 works? Never heard it it before a few hours ago when a friend said I should go this route over a LR 2.0 obviously the shorter rods and pistons just think its weird as I'm just now seeing this.

Build looks extremely promising!

Edit: Also can't find any other build of this kind I surely don't wanna be a pioneer if that's the case lol

There are a few 4g63 based 2.2 cars running around on here. Just have to hunt to find them. I went this route because I wanted to have a lil better manners on the street than just with a 2.0, and wanted more RPM than my previous 100mm motor allowed. This motor should spin to 9k with no issues, which is what I wanted.

Update -

Getting a sheptrans stage 2 ultimate ratio transmission now as well. Turbo of choice is now an HTA86 in .82 vband flavor. We'll see what the car can make, see how fast I CAN'T get it down the track....and maybe next spring re-vamp the fuel system and go 3794 or super94.

Transmission is here.

Shep stage 2, REM ISF, Billet output tube, and ultimate ratio gearset. Turbo setup should be here tomorrow. Buschur vband mani, DP, dumptube, and a vband HTA86. Gotta get that out to get ceramic coated.

Not quite ready yet. The goal for me is 800+whp on our local dynojet. I know English made 760 on a 3586 car at 32-33 psi.....so I am pretty sure we can break 800 at 40+.
