It lives!!!!

When I first started the car, I started hearing this metallic pinging noise and my heart sank... then I realized it was coming from the back of the car, I walked around to the back and saw nuts shooting out my exhaust. I literally fell down laughing. Little f*r's stored their nuts in my exhaust at one point. lmao.

Congratulations Bryan. We look forward to hearing a lot of good news now finally hopefully figured out head issues and spark plug oiling. Not to mention the finding of flaked off anodization in surge tank, which was quiet an eye opener to most/many of us. Maybe Stainless tank is the answer, for 100% certainty.

Are you using aluminum or steel (OEM like) AN fittings for fuel lines?

Thats funny you say that cause that was the first thing I thought of as in metal nuts bouncing around falling out the exhaust , but then I said to myself you would be super lucky if they fell out and didn’t bind up. It’s good they were acorns falling out the exhaust and nothing bad happen except a harmless laugh.

Be careful I know Harbor Freight had a recall on jack stands not long ago. You may want to look that up and make sure you don't get one of those stands.

Jack stands are fine. It's my jack that failed. Which happens to have been a Harbor Freight Pittsburg jack that had last me seven years and many track events. I think I got my $79 worth. Going to replace it with another one.

More updates. Getting the car ready for state inspection.

Engine bay is all back together, sans one strut bar bolt that I dropped into the engine bay never to be seen again. I blame the two beers I had 20 mins before.

I decided to get rid of my AD08R tires as they where six years old, who knows how many heat cycles and had been sitting on the car stationary for years. Decided to try some cheaper tires for street use. Picked up a set of Federal ST-1 tires as they had some pretty good reviews. As long as they aren't complete trash, I'll be happy for $550 all in for 265/35/18 tires.

@razorlab , a lot of your pics seem to be missing. Which brake kit did you go with? I cant' remember if it was a 4 piston or 6 piston stop tech trophy kit.
