hey, i have a built evo 8 currently getting 7mpg, and that is terrible, it needs a retune for sure, but i was wondering if a retune will help my gas mileage?
current mods: 2.4L 4g64-longblock-280 cams-1000cc injectors-dual fuel pumps-ams high flow cat- precision 6262-and other bolt on's

 

Im on a built motor 2.0 double pumper etc and still getting atleast 18in city

 

lmao this is killing me, if the retune doesnt help, its going for sale cause its my daily, dont get me wrong i love this car, but 40 dollars of gas cant even last me 5 days going from school and back

 

The retune should help immebsely what kind of afrs are you seeibg at idle and partial cruise and wot

 

14-15 when cruising and idling, and wot its around 12, thats past 4k rmps

 

And at idle? It should be in the high tens or low 11s at wot

 

idling is jumpy from 14-15, and really? then definitely need to get the retune asap

 

Your idle is about right but your wot is off

 

deff get a tune and it should help out gl keep us updated after the tune

 

You should be getting better then 7mpg at cruise if your afr's are anywhere close to 14-15, something else is off or your wideband is off.

 

7 MPG? Damn! You WOT everywhere you go?

 

General evo section rather then build section maybe?

 

If you're on E85 that may be the culprit. We need more information.
