Honestly we do not exactly know. With moving my ignition under my dash and wire tuck we were unable to set base timing values in the AEM before we dyno tuned it last year. The values that show in my logs will not be a true number. The car was tuned off of air/fuel and knock with timing (from what we think) on the low side. Timing really hasn't been touched since we last had it on the dyno. The dyno graph was very smooth even with smoothing on the lowest setting. Once I can get the car to hook we will get more aggressive with the tune and keep an eye on key elements in the log and go from there. I wish I had an answer for you but I don't.

Well the 2014 DSM/EVO/GT-R Shootout is finally over. What a great weekend! Thank you to everyone involved in putting on the event. Special thanks goes out to all those who have help support me throughout the years. Friends, family, sponsors, etc... It was also great to see those I only see once a year. And not to mention all of the badass cars!
Friday August 15th, 2014 (Dyno day at Buschur Racing - Wakeman, Ohio)
Spent most of the day relaxing and checking out everyone's cars. Early afternoon we decided to throw the car on the dyno to check the tune. It had been over a year since it was on the dyno last. The car made just about 800 whp (3rd gear) on Buschur Racing's mustang dyno. In 2013 it made 811. We were happy with the tune and let it be. Most of the fine tuning we do at the race track anyway. I was pleased to see not much had changed since last year.
Saturday August 16th, 2014 (Test & Tune and 1st round of qualifying at Summit Racing Motorsport Parkway - Norwalk, Ohio)
Test & tune started around 3:00 PM and I couldn't wait to run the car. 1st pass off the trailer I crushed my old best time of 9.37 with a 9.167 @ 141.65 mph. It blew the lower intercooler pipe off at about the 900' mark. That is why my mph was so low. This was the first time I have ever run a 5.x in the 1/8th mile as well. Needless to say I was pretty pumped.
1st pass video:
After the 1st pass I reviewed the log and we made a few changes to the tune. I got right back in line to run again. 2nd pass was even better yet! 9.018 @ 158.58 mph. Once again the lower intercooler pipe blew off, but at about the 1200' mark. Damn....so close to 8's
2nd pass video:
Again we reviewed the log and made a few changes. I was having some issues controlling boost through the AEM solenoid.
The last pass of the day was the 1st round of qualifying. I entered the Quick Street 32 class. I felt it was a perfect class for my car. I was almost the only car in the class with a full interior, mirrors, and wipers. I only pulled the rear seats out as I knew it was an easy 25 lbs. The car got a little out of shape on this run and I rode pretty close to the wall but was able to get it back on course. Ended up running a 9.132 @ 159.44 mph. This was quick enough to put me as the # 1 qualifier in my class.
3rd pass video:
Sunday August 17th, 2014 (2nd & 3rd round of qualifying and eliminations at Summit Racing Motorsport Parkway - Norwalk, Ohio)
Got up bright and early Sunday morning to it raining. Looking at the radar I knew it would pass soon. Brought my computer over to David to look at and we noticed with the changes to the boost in 4th gear the car had almost zero timing in 4th gear. This explained why my trap speed was so slow. My car almost always picks up at least 40 mph in the back half. Knowing that I had left a lot on the table the day before I was excited to run again.
Despite my want to run again I decided to sit out the 2nd and 3rd round of qualifying knowing I was the # 1 qualifier. After a long delay thanks to the rain eliminations finally got underway. 1st round of eliminations I got the bye run. I took it easy and didn't run the car hard. 2nd round of eliminations I get paired up against a very nice 1g. I bring the car up on the two step and launch...bog. Boost recovers and I have to run the other guy down. I run it through 1st and 2nd gear and I'm gaining ground back fast. I hit third gear and it falls on it's face. I ride it out in an attempt to catch the guy I'm racing. But It wasn't enough and I knew something was wrong. I lift and coast to the end of the track.
Back at the trailer we discover the weld that holds the wastegate to the collector completely broke off causing a massive boost leak. That was it for the weekend and we loaded it up on the trailer.
------------------------------------------------------------
There is going to be a few changes made to the car over the next couple of weeks. I think a new Buschur BFIC and piping is a must. This outing was very helpful and I learned a lot about the car. Boost is perfect and only drops 1-2 psi by redline. A few suspension changes need to be made as well.
With a solid 1.3 sixty and the changes made to my timing map she should fly next time out. Reviewing my time slips I feel a high 8.7 @ 165 mph is there. But anything honestly in the 8's would make me happy.
I've been hunting 8's for quite sometime now. A 9.01 is such a tease. But I am confident it will happen soon. The car runs strong and I am so impressed with the power band. Gotta love a built Buschur Racing 2.0 L
Keep posted I hope to run it again very soon.

Update 9.3.2014
Well the car has been down a for few weeks since the Shootout. I have been busy making a few changes that I feel will help make a nice difference.
The exhaust manifold was welded up and should be leak free. I'll have to have Tirado Custom Coatings re-coat it but will probably wait until winter while the car is in storage. I'm trying to keep down time to a minimum in an effort to hit the track again asap.
My FIC2150's were sent to FIC to be checked and cleaned. They called me today to let me know everything is good to go and that they looked great. They hadn't been checked in awhile and I was a little concerned with one of them.
I have sold my entire FMIC and piping kit. Fabrication of the new custom Buschur Racing FMIC kit will start in the next week or two. We plan to weld a 2.5" aluminum v-band to the outlet of the compressor housing. This 2.5" v-band will mate with a one piece very short 2.5" aluminum LICP. The new intercooler will consist of a Garrett core measuring 24" L x 13" H x 4.5" D and will have custom Buschur Racing back door facing inlet/outlet end tanks. The FMIC inlet will measure 2.5" and the outlet will measure 2.75". The UICP will be a custom made 2 piece design that will fit my engine bay and setup perfectly. It too will consist of 2.75" aluminum piping. The 2.75" upper will mate perfectly with my 70mm throttle body. All new couplers and t-bolts will be used. And to finish it off I will be using a brand new Tial Q blow off valve. It should be pretty slick once it is all done.
Going from stainless steel piping to aluminum should offset the weight of the larger intercooler core. The 3.8" core is rated to roughly 900 horsepower vs. the 1200 horsepower 4.5" core. Making 800+ whp put me right at the upper edge of my old FMIC setup.
Time permitting I plan to install a set of the Buschur Racing front & rear under trays. I'm sure my rear bumper is a HUGE air trap. I can't believe I have never done this mod yet. Anything that will help at this point I am game for trying.
Once all fabrication is complete and I know everything is good to go I plan to get an alignment. It has been years since I've had one and I'm sure it should be done. I'd like to corner scale the car again and try and get the suspension setup a little better. I need to get the car back into the 1.3 sixty foot range. My slicks could still use to be broken in better.
Any two wheel drive cars want to use them? I need someone who can do some wicked burnouts. Let me know if your local I'll let you use them
I have so many ideas for this winter. As much as I'd like to switch to a Super 94 or 99 I think I am going to stay with the 3794. It is a great turbo and make good power. I'd like to spend more time perfecting the car as it sits at this power level.

I got the boot at the IFO event in cbus this spring for safety no equipment on a ****ty 9.5 @ 154 mph pass. It isn't worth the trip there just to get kicked out again.
I'll post pics of the FMIC setup as it comes together!
Chris thanks for the tilton pedal spring tip.... made a world of difference on my setup yesterday. I dont know how far you are from milan michigan but Badevo and myself are trying to hit up the track you could join.

Me as well
No problem at all. I am a few weeks out still until the car will be ready to race again. But depending on when you guys go I may be game.

wonder if removing the spring will make a difference on my QM clutch w/ dogbox?
what did you notice was different after removing it? i wonder if this is just a tilton thing or for all push style clutches

I never drove the car with the this clutch with the spring still installed. So it is hard to say what and if it made a difference. But from what I've read I would say yes you should remove it even with your QM. It may help make the clutch more consistent to launch.
